Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Guidelines
The Ministry of Health released guidelines on the use of PPE for healthcare workers (27th March 2020)
Pharmacists were categorised as low priority with a low risk of transmission.
You should use the same category as phlebotomists for collecting blood samples.
It is recommended that you wear gloves for collecting samples and finger-prick test and that masks are not necessary when testing an symptomatic patient.
